Health & Care

Kaiko.ai, a company developing multimodal AI solutions for clinical care, has opened a new office at Louwesweg 6 in Amsterdam. The move highlights the city’s growing importance as a hub for AI-driven healthcare innovation.

Founded in 2021 and active in Amsterdam and Zurich, the company develops kaiko.w, an AI assistant designed for healthcare professionals. The tool is built for daily hospital practice and connects to existing systems such as electronic health records and medical software. By applying multimodal AI, kaiko.w supports clinical teams in complex decision-making.

The system is already in use at several European hospitals, including the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Through these collaborations, Kaiko.ai advances the integration of AI into clinical workflows, offering support in analysing medical information and improving operational efficiency.

By opening its new office in Amsterdam, Kaiko.ai strengthens its position within the regional AI ecosystem. The proximity to academic hospitals, research institutes, and AI-focused companies offers opportunities for further collaboration on reliable, clinically deployable AI systems. The expansion contributes to a local innovation environment where medical AI solutions can be developed and tested more effectively.
