This lab, part of the Innovation Centre for Artificial Intelligence, uses advanced AI methods to improve adaptive radiation therapy. Adaptive radiation therapy takes into account changes in the patient during treatment. Thus, the initial daily prescription can be adjusted, resulting in less damage to healthy tissue. Thanks to AI, this will become possible in the near future.

POP-AART stands for Partnership for Online Personalised AI-driven Adaptive RT (POP-AART).
