Dutch AI founders who are seriously exploring the U.S. market can apply for a founder mission to San Francisco in April 2026. The programme is built around HumanX, a fast-growing U.S. AI conference, and includes a broader schedule of curated sessions, conversations and site visits designed to accelerate market learning and relevant connections.
Amsterdam Trade & Invest, the Netherlands Consulate in San Francisco and ScaleNL are organising a Dutch AI Founder Mission to HumanX in San Francisco (6–10 April 2026). The mission is built around HumanX, described as one of the newest and fastest-growing AI conferences in the United States, expecting 6,000+ attendees and 300+ speakers. Speakers mentioned include Matt Garman (CEO AWS), Andy Konwinski (co-founder Perplexity) and Hemant Taneja (CEO General Catalyst).
HumanX is created by the team behind HLTH and Money20/20 and is structured around short sessions, curated meetings and fast market feedback. The event takes place at the Moscone Center in the SoMa district, around 10 minutes from the Dutch Consulate. Founders can also apply for the Pitch Competition (30 startups) and the 2-minute Startup Showcase (90 companies).
The mission is aimed at Dutch AI founders whose companies show meaningful commercial traction (pilots, revenue, repeatable segments, international activity) or have sufficient external funding to explore the U.S. market seriously.
Mission-related participation costs are expected to be €0–€500 per founder, with HumanX access included. Flights and accommodation are at the participants’ own expense. As an indication, a Lufthansa return flight (4–11 April) is listed at around €750.
HumanX will also host its first EMEA edition in Amsterdam in September 2026, creating a direct link between both AI ecosystems.
Interested in joining the delegation? Apply via the participation form. The deadline is 23 January 2026. Selected founders will receive onboarding, preparation and planning details once the group is confirmed.
