Achmea Impact Ventures invests in Amsterdam-based AI startup Weeve

Amsterdam-based AI startup Weeve has secured investment from Achmea Impact Ventures. The company develops technology that processes professional conversations fully on-device, enabling users to build a private AI memory without sending data to external servers.

Weeve addresses a specific challenge in the AI market: how professionals can benefit from AI memory capabilities without compromising on privacy. The startup solves this by processing conversations entirely on the user’s own device, keeping data local and away from external parties or cloud infrastructure.

The investment from Achmea Impact Ventures aligns with the fund’s focus on technology solutions with a social dimension. Privacy-by-design AI fits that strategy, particularly in sectors such as financial services and healthcare, where the handling of sensitive conversation data is strictly regulated.

With the new capital, Weeve aims to accelerate further development of its platform and expand its market position. The company is based in Amsterdam and forms part of the city’s growing AI startup ecosystem.
