Amsterdam-listed Prosus has launched ToqanClaw, a platform that enables restaurants, merchants and entrepreneurs to create business tools simply by describing what they need, without any programming knowledge or reliance on IT teams. The company says it is the first in Europe to bring this capability to scale, making it available to more than five million partners across its ecosystem.
ToqanClaw is built on Toqan, Prosus’ own AI platform, and offers functionality comparable to OpenClaw-inspired tools. Users can build applications, dashboards and automated workflows immediately, without writing a single line of code or waiting for engineering resources. The only requirement is the ability to describe a need in plain language, as one would explain it to a colleague.
Data governance is a central feature of the platform. Prosus states that all user data remains within a secure environment and is never used to train third-party models. This positions ToqanClaw as a solution aligned with European privacy regulations and the growing demand for data sovereignty among businesses operating under GDPR.
The platform is aimed specifically at the segment of entrepreneurs who have previously lacked access to advanced automation tools due to technical barriers or limited developer availability. With more than five million restaurants, merchants and entrepreneurs in its ecosystem, Prosus has significant reach to deploy the platform at scale.
Only a handful of companies worldwide have managed to offer this type of capability at comparable scale. Prosus claims to be the first European company to join that group. Read more on the Prosus website.
