Governing Algorithms for Care

Registration is now open for the 2026 conference “Governing Algorithms for Care”, taking place on 5–6 October 2026 at Felix Meritis in Amsterdam.

Join researchers, students, and professionals from across disciplines as they explore how artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming healthcare. The conference focuses on how these technologies can be regulated, designed, and applied in a way that is responsible, fair, transparent, and aligned with patient rights.

Across two days, the programme offers a rich mix of presentations, workshops, and panel discussions addressing the governance of AI in healthcare.

Key themes include:

  • Health equity and fairness
  • AI regulation and compliance
  • Data protection, accountability, and liability
  • Ethical design in medical technologies
  • Patients’ rights in AI-driven care

Interdisciplinary and practice-oriented contributions are strongly encouraged, fostering dialogue between law, medicine, ethics, and technology.

A Call for Abstracts is open until 18 May, welcoming submissions on the above themes and related topics.

The full programme will be announced soon.
