Explore how data and artificial intelligence are already transforming healthcare — and how they will shape the future — at the symposium Data and AI in the healthcare of tomorrow.
The symposium focuses on the future of data-driven care. Participants will discover how working with data and AI is already making a difference for doctors, nurses, patients, and healthcare professionals. The programme offers inspiring sessions, practical examples, and discussions on the ethical and societal challenges of AI in medicine.
The event opens with Yvonne Koppelman (Executive Board) and a keynote by Marelle van Beerschoten (Digital Shapers), titled The future is data-driven. Dr. Azam Nurmohamed, internist-nephrologist and chair of the Data-Driven Working programme, will present the vision and key highlights from Amsterdam UMC’s AI Strategy.
Parallel sessions include:
AI Escape Room – an interactive session by Digital Shapers;
Responsible Innovation: Ethical Considerations for AI in Healthcare by Laura Hartman (Erasmus MC);
Data & AI in Amsterdam UMC: Inspiration Carousel with Edwin Geleijn, Bart van Rijn, Tim Mocking, and Costa Bachas.
The symposium concludes with a panel discussion and plenary wrap-up. The event welcomes healthcare professionals, researchers, and anyone interested in the role of AI in the future of care.
