On 25 August 2026, TTT-AI is hosting the workshop “Thinking About an AI Spin-off? Start Here”, on behalf of NWO and together with ICAI and ELLIS. It is a hands-on afternoon for researchers, postdocs and PhD students who are curious about turning their work into a startup.

Participants pick up the essentials of starting an academic spin-off and get practical insights on topics such as intellectual property and funding, including NWO Take-off. Experienced founders and investors are on hand to answer questions. Two successful startups share what made the difference for them, and the afternoon concludes with drinks.
