AI on the Amstel: The Future of Coding Skills and the Product Stack

AI on the Amstel – May Meetup

Two central questions will take the stage this month: what coding skills will matter in an AI-driven world, especially amid claims that traditional coding is becoming “obsolete,” and what the product stack of the future will look like in this new paradigm.

The May edition brings together a strong panel of leaders at the intersection of product, engineering, and scale:

  • Adrian McPhee, CTO of Eccasion; former CTO of Bol.com and Backbase
  • Clare Jones, CEO of Polarsteps
  • Michael Aronzon, CTO of Miro

The meetup takes place at the large atrium of the Miro Amsterdam Office. Doors open at 17:00, with networking before the panel begins around 17:45–18:00. The session includes audience Q&A, followed by a second networking round.

AI on the Amstel is a monthly technical meetup focused on in-depth, practical AI discussions for engineers, product managers, and founders. It is the largest recurring AI meetup in Amsterdam, regularly bringing together 250–400+ participants from across the AI ecosystem.
