With 'Apple-style' presentation, OpenAI launches customizable smart assistants

OpenAI wants to be able to compete with large tech companies. During a presentation to developers yesterday, reminiscent of Apple's approach, the company introduced GPTs, a new concept that is best explained as a smart assistant.

Altman's main message during the 45-minute presentation was a customized version of ChatGPT. OpenAI calls them GPTs, more simply: smart assistants. A concept that has been around for years, for example Apple's Siri and Amazon's Alexa. And in September, Meta announced it was bringing chatbots with AI personalities to its apps.

Is OpenAI is ready for the potential risks and the chance that the smart assistant will go off track? Read about it here.
