In collaboration with Kickstart AI and the Foodbank, ICAI invites MSc and PhD students to tackle this challenge of not only quantifying poverty but also understanding and mitigating its societal implications. Participants can join as individuals or in teams, with teams being carefully curated by organizers to promote diversity and creativity.

The challenge kicks off with an event filled with keynotes and brainstorming sessions, followed by a working period where teams operate remotely, supported by a dedicated Slack channel and regular online check-ins. The journey concludes with final presentations and an award ceremony on June 5, 2024, where the best innovations are recognized.
