At the recently opened AI4forensics lab, four PhD students and a postdoctoral student are investigating what AI can do for forensic investigations. The lab is a collaboration between the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) and is housed in the ICAI - Innovation Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Amsterdam.
