The programme

This high-profile event with key decision makers, innovators and researchers will revolve around the theme: Getting AI to the bedside. We will hear from experts in research and industry about the foundations and principles to the actual bedside applications of AI interventions. We will discuss hurdles in the translation process and will hear inspiring keynotes from leaders in different  industries (e.g. Finance, Commerce) about their journey to succesful AI application.

Daniel Gebler (CTO Picnic)

Daniel Gebler is CTO and founder of Picnic Technologies,  former Director R&D at Fredhopper, ands holds a PhD in Computer Science. Drawing on his experience leading the world’s fastest-growing online supermarket, he’ll discuss the latest AI trends reshaping retail and explore the evolving landscape of AI adoption.

Frans van Bruggen (De Nederlansche Bank)

Frans van Bruggen is a Senior Policy Advisor on Artificial Intelligence and Fintech at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). In his keynote speech, he will offer his reflections on AI adoption from a regulatory perspective. With a strong focus on regulating emerging technology and its implications for business, government, and society, Frans brings valuable insights from the forefront of shaping AI policy in the financial sector. 

Pitches and Conversation on: ‘AI: From bench to Bedside’ 

There will be a series of short pitches followed by an interactive conversation about the process of AI innovation in healthcare. From foundation models to clinical applications, presenting the following subjects:
